LOST MOMENTS – ALIEN’S DELETED SCENES

Even masterpieces leave moments on the cutting room floor. This first collection focuses on deleted, alternate, and re-edited scenes from the first half of Alien — moments that expand our understanding of the story before the horror reaches its peak. Some fill in character motivation, add context, or show action that was left off-screen; others offer alternate perspectives or entirely new beats.

The clips here range from polished, ready-to-use scenes to unfinished footage and actor walkthroughs. Many were painstakingly recreated by fans using stills, script pages, production notes, concept art, and even their own imagination.

Special recognition goes to Steve Nyland, whose remarkable depiction of Dallas, Kane, and Lambert leaving the Nostromo, crossing LV-426, and discovering the Space Jockey is a standout — crafted with skill, flair, and a wry sense of humor (“I like griping”). These clips are arranged to match the early timeline of the film as closely as possible. Some compilations overlap, and quality/volume levels may vary.
