Deleted Scene Videos from Alien: Lost Moments

Even masterpieces leave moments on the cutting room floor. This first collection focuses on Alien deleted scenes, including deleted, alternate, and re-edited scenes from the first half of the Alien movie. These moments expand our understanding of the story before the horror reaches its peak. Some scenes fill in character motivation, add context, or show action that was left off-screen; others offer alternate perspectives or entirely new beats.

The clips here range from polished, ready-to-use scenes to unfinished footage and actor walkthroughs. Many were painstakingly recreated by fans using stills, script pages, production notes, concept art, and even their own imagination.

Special recognition goes to Steve Nyland, whose remarkable depiction of Dallas, Kane, and Lambert leaving the Nostromo, crossing LV-426, and discovering the Space Jockey is a standout — crafted with skill, flair, and a wry sense of humor (“I like griping”). Don’t miss it. Thanks also to patjng02, whose uploads preserve several key scenes from our deleted scenes compilation.

These clips are arranged to match the early timeline of the film as closely as possible. Some compilations overlap, and quality/volume levels may vary.

Some of the items featured below are produced in limited quantities and may not always be available, especially highly sought-after collectibles.

Sometimes, what’s left out tells its own story.

An absolute epic (recognized in the introduction of this page!) This shows the journey Dallas, Kane and Lambert take from the Nostromo to the alien spaceship, their discovery of the Space Jockey, Kane’s experience with the face-hugger and their journey back and into the Nostromo. Expertly made and my favorite. Bravo Mr. Nyland!
