MORE FROM THE CUTTING ROOM – CONT.

The journey into Alien’s unseen moments continues. This second collection focuses on deleted, alternate, and re-edited scenes from the second half of the film — moments that bring new texture to the tension, horror, and resolution of the story. Some are extended or alternate takes; others are fascinating fragments left unfinished.

Many of these clips were carefully crafted by talented fans combining raw footage, stills, concept art, and production notes to rebuild lost sequences. Their work keeps these moments alive for the fan community.

Very special thanks go to Alien Theory and Acid Glow, who each created and posted excellent  videos featured here, and again to patjng02, whose uploads preserve several key scenes. Their content is thoughtful, creative, and deeply respectful of the source material — I encourage you to visit their YouTube channels to see even more of their outstanding work.

As with Part 1, these scenes are arranged as closely as possible to the film’s timeline. You may see overlap where different versions of the same scene exist, and picture/sound quality will vary.

This is an excellently crafted production by Alien Theory who has done many fine videos analyzing Alien. This is a detailed explanation of a scene that was included in Alan Dean Foster’s novelization of the film and parts of which were filmed for the movie but never finished. Parker comes across the Alien in a passageway and he along with Ripley and Lambert are almost able to lure it into an airlock and blow it out into space.

Stylized Collectibles and Alternate Takes

Deleted scenes often reveal alternate moods, ideas, and visual directions that never became part of Alien’s final cut. The collectibles below reflect that same spirit — stylized interpretations and character moments that exist slightly outside the film’s core canon. They’re perfect companions to the unused, reimagined, and alternate material explored on this page.
